Observation

0105(2) provider's brother did not have cleared background 0150(3) provider's brother did not have TB test I would like to clarify that my brother is not a household member at my licensed daycare facility. He was present at the home for approximately 2 hours and then left. During this short visit, he did not have any unsupervised access to children and did not participate in caregiving activities. Although he is not residing at the facility or considered part of the household, I proactively completed the necessary background check and fingerprinting through the appropriate channels in case he chooses to stay over in the future or becomes a household member. I also have his negative TB test results, which are uploaded in MERIT and available on hand for review. Given that my brother was only briefly present and had no direct or unsupervised contact with children, I respectfully request that the following notes be reconsidered: Note 0105(2): My brother is not a household member and his background check was in fact completed as a precautionary measure. Note 0150(3): His TB test is complete and documented, even though he is not a caregiver or resident.
